Trail of Tears & Native American Resistance

This week we will be learning about the impact of Westward Expansion had on Native American groups. We will discuss the causes and effects of the government decisions that led to the Trail of Tears. We will learn about the ways Native Americans resisted the forced movements. We will also learn about the experience of those who were forcibly moved. Finally, we will learn about the Oneidas in New York State.
